Insurance

We work with third-party entities, Headway and Alma, to facilitate the insurance verification and billing process.

For patients located in Texas, we bill through Alma or Headway and are in network with:

• Aetna

• Cigna

• Optum/United

• Blue Cross Blue Shield (BCBS)

Of note, Aetna insurances may include/be administered through Meritain Health, Allied Benefit Systems, Nippon, and GEHA Health plans.

Optum is an umbrella of insurance networks/administrators that may include United Healthcare plans, Oscar, United Medical Resources (UMR), All Savers, and Surest (formerly Bind).

Blue Cross Blue Shield plans may include Anthem plans, federal BCBS plans, and BCBS plans from states outside of Texas, but will be billed through the local BCBS Texas office as is protocol. Some BCBS plans use a third-party “carve-out” insurance for mental health benefits called Magellan, which we are currently not in-network with.

We are in network with most of these plans, but we will verify your specific plan prior to the first appointment.

We also take out-of-pocket cash/private payment for services provided if you do not have insurance or if you would like to bypass using insurance.

Private pay rates are $300 for an initial 60-minute evaluation and $150 for 30-minute follow-up appointments.
